The PURE Co-op Nominating Committee announced the results of the 2009 Elections of the Board of Directors at the November, when the five open seats on the 15-member governing body were filled.

Beginning new terms on the PURE Co-op Board of Directors are:
• District 1 – Clayton Hooks, Craddock Oil Company in McComb, Mississippi
• District 2 – Lynn Keffer, Crossroads Fuel Service, Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia
• District 3 – Davis Cosey, Davis Oil Company, Inc. in Perry, Georgia
• District 4 – Craig Lynch, Lynch Oil Company, Inc. in Kissimmee, Florida
• District 5 – James Frank Bundrant, Bundrant Car Care in Waynesboro, Tennessee

Clayton Hooks and Lynn Keffer are newcomers to the board of directors, and both were on hand at the November meeting to start their tenures. James Frank Bundrant took office to begin 2010, when he replaced Jack Parsons, who resigned his post from District 5. Craig Lynch just completed his first year of service on the board, as he filled a seat in District 4 that came open in 2009. Davis Cosey, who was again selected by his fellow board members to serve a second year as Vice President, was re-elected to his position in District 3, as he has served several years now on the PURE Co-op Board.

The PURE Co-op Board consists of 15 members, with three posts elected from each of the five current districts of the Cooperative. Board members typically serve three years, as elections for five new board members are held each year when these terms expire.

New board members will be profiled in future issues of The PURE Agenda Co-op newsletter, as well as on this Web site (www.besurewithpure.com).
